Another update, another "I can't play" thread

So starting from today, after receiving a steam update, I can't play TF2 (yes valve, I want to be your free beta tester), whenever I try to open the game I get a withe and blank window, then the tf2 sound intro starts with a lot of stuttering and the window keeps closing and opening forever untill I kill the hl2.exe process.

Anyone has the same problem?

No idea what that is, but are you using AV software/a firewall? Try going through the process of adding HL2.exe as a trustworthy program again.

Problem has resolved on its own, but I will keep that solution in mind if it comes around again
