Anti Citizen One -- Please Help!

Hey ehh... stuck again, I haven't spent too much time here but its pissing me off. I took a screenshot to help show where i'm at. Im climbing up this area here... I just took that little lift thing with the two barrels on it up and then found a ladder, got on top of the lift, walked across some metal bar, and pretty much got to where I am now. I can't seem to get any higher though. Im thinking I obviously have to get to that blue door across from me in the screenshot but I have no clue how. I dunno... any help from the vets? i'd be grateful. peace.

You know, I've completed the game twice and still can't remember the full details of that bit. Doh.

The blue doors can only be opened by the Combine troops, I know that.

2 ways to do it, a nasty way, and the long way.

Nasty way: behind the you there is a ladder on the other side of the post, climb it up, kill 4 or 5 of those white combines, then jump down to the other side.

Long way: i cant remember the exact details...but i remember that, somehow, i was able to make the elevator move again, back down. When the elevator passes near the place your screenshot shows, you need to jump to its uper (yellow) part, and jump to the other side of the plataform.

11.15: Ok how do I get past this nightmare?
- Walk around the catwalk to the switch. Activate it. Kill all seeable Combine. Wait for platform. Ride platform up. Walk along catwalk. Climb ladder up. Walk on pipes. Walk around to beams and walk on the beams that hoist the platform you just rode on. Walk across them and crouch to go all the way. Climb on the catwalk. Walk around to another ladder. Jump to middle catwalk between very top and where you came from. Walk it and fall at exit door. Beware of hoppers.

Get onto the beam that is near you (in your screenshot) that supports the lift cage walk down as far as you can then start to walk back. A combine will start the lift at this point I got onto the bit that moves but you should be able to walk in front of it, duck under the beam and wait for the lift to stop. Jump up onto the lift support which will let you get onto the next beam up. Go to your left over to the green supports, the one near you has a ladder on it make your way up and you should see how to get over on top of the blue doors. You will need to jump down, also watch out for combine while you do all that. Hope that helps.
