Hope it ends up to be false, but if it isn't false, the video needs to come out ASAP so the identities of the perpetrators can be confirmed.

Why bother being anti-war if you don't even give a shit about your own troops.

Haditha, Rawa and Parwana have been under attack for the past three weeks with US/ Iraqi military activities intensifying over the past few days. The main hospitals in the area are reporting shortages of medicine oxygen, sugerical kits, anti-biotics and other basic medicines.

Civilians have fled to neighbouring towns and villages such as Ana and are in need of basic foods, water and shelter. Shop keepers are unable to open their premises because of the US/ Iraqi operation, and trucks with urgent food supplies are facing serious difficulties entering the seiged areas.

Eyewitnesses and medical personal have told Doctors For Iraq that snipers are operating inside some of the seiged cities. Haditha hospital estimates that at least eleven civilians were killed during the attack and 15 injured. The US military prevented ambulances from entering the areas and medics from working freely. The area remains under siege.

It unclear how many civilians have been killed or injured in the areas where the military is carrying out operations A school building in Parwana was bombed with people inside the school. In my history of using this forum, "the drudge report" has often proven quite unreliable.
 
im strongly anti-war, but if that story is true, then those people are just f'ed up. The soldiers of this war are not to blame, its the politcians fault.

you people are making a mountain out of a molehill ..the original story made the reader think the anti-war activists had attacked the hospital overturned beds tipped over wheelchairs and lit bed pans on fire :upstare: ...all I see here is people protesting.

they have a right to protest (they received a permit) ..I personally think it's a little misguided ...I mean these guys are wounded and not returning to the front lines ..almost like preaching to the converted (well I'd be a convert after losing a limb in something that turned out to be a lie) ..sure it's a little distasteful but awareness is half the battle ...vietnam didnt end because the war was lost, vietnam ended because years of americans getting killed on national tv finally took their toll


btw the right-wingers in the article dont exactly come across in a favourable light either:

that's just ****ing stupid ..if I was there I'd laugh in his face ..as if this is about the election. You people are freaking blind to what's going on, you call yourselves patriots yet couldnt care less that 1800 dead and 11,000-20,000 wounded americans met to their fate as a result of a lie ...it just boggles the mind.

at most this is just about a bunch of misguided people protesting at the wrong place at the wrong time




I guarantee that I will have some member freak out at least one statement above ..my advice to you: take the statements as a whole, dont take individuals statements out of context. I'm not going to argue semantics here
