Anticitizen crash to desktop

In the Anticitizen one level I have gone through the sewers and opened the door to let the my squad through, but when I go up stairs it shows that that its loading but then crashes to the desktop without any error message. I was wondering if anybody else has had
this happen or if just need reinstall.

I experienced the same problem now that I'm playing the game a second time (the first time it never happened) and its a weird one.
With me it happens at the end of the Highway 17 chapter, leaving the first room in the bridge and going dow the gangway proper to the room with the first crate of RPG rockets... it loads, stutters shortly then crashes to windows every time with a strange sound, like a drop of water falling into a pool.

Strange thing is, it happens just at that one spot. I can load other save games and play and nothing happens.

Grr... just when you thought you'd beat the system for good ;-)

I'll have a look at what the next level is called and you can use the map command.

I can't find it.

But type status the the console and whatever map name it gives you add +1 to the map name for example.

Have you tried validating your HL2 files?
