yea its a bit off topic, but i felt there needed to be a change of pace in the speculation forum, every thread is too much the same, dates.. etc.. Im sure the community will be very intrested in this. As our real world is turning into science fiction.. (and HL2 is Sci-fi... lol thats my excuse for posting this thread ;)..)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Its real , since the 1950's John searl created a device that could generate electricity by an anomylous effect now know as the searl effect , the device also looses it weight as it is started, and demonstrates antigravity effects, so much so that it repels itsself away from the earth at high speed!, if it is not controlled.

the material lying around, (books , internet etc) on the device is enough for any specialised group of people to experiment and work to build one themselves, and maybe an upset for large buisness and governments putting all there efforts into oil and gas. as the device will be self sustainable and built to power a home for long periods of time, (anything electrical).

ive included links, and i feel strongly that the rest of the population of this planet becomes aware of this as it may well spell the end to rocket powered space flight, and paying for electricity bills.Early pictures retrived from government sources, and modern material.

this could mean the end of Jet and rocket powered flight, and those annoying electricity bills :p

so , free power for our computers to run HL2,, yay :)

JESUS HERMAN CHRIST! That thing flyin' in some of those pictures weighed 11 farking tons! That's pretty amazing stuff. Interesting (yet confusing) read. Thanks for that post Clarky :D.

Not to mention a real-life Manipulator. Yay! :)

lol, . some people reckon this is a hoax, there either scared of the prospect of change, or they are very narrow minded to ignore the sense of it all, if your scientific enough to conduct your own experiments. :p :naughty: I know a fair bit, so if you want more info to clear anything confusing up,you be the sponge and ill be the water :)the Russians are in on it 2, very detailed, modern day testing

link to a russian Test document, very detailed and very conclusive. lol, just incase that last link didnt work, cause I think its messed up, for sum reason?

Clarky003 I congratulate you on posting something truly interesting on these forums! I have read somethign about this before and if it IS a hoax it is certainly an elaborate one.

Hmm some finnish dude made a magnet levitate awhile ago.

I think that would be the Meissner Effect. Basically, a magnetic field does not get along with a superconducting substance...

I'd move this to genera off-topic, but it'll probably get filled with spam, so I think I'll leave it here as I guess it is pretty interesting, even if it isn't completely related to HL2, its not doing any harm right now anyway.

thank you fenric, .. the device works on the principle theory of a creative vaccum matrix. or Zero point energy vaccum, I know Brian is familiar, how about anyone else? heard of this before somewhere?

all of this to create a hoax, It heavily seems that it would be very elaborate. Infact being as ive seen a smaller version working myself, I can say a hoax would be very much out of the question. but I understand your slight scepticisim

Y'know what'd be neat? A backpack version of one of these. It'd take over from the bike as the number one mechanical device for single person transport and also create a whole new class of accident, the "Mid-air interpersonal collision".

Kewl. I believe the main use would be a device that takes over from the main electricity board, that is plugged into the power breaker for the house, and powers your house for god knows how long, I can imagine aslong as the materials stay magnetic, which would be a very very long time

infact now people believe that UFO's 'aliens' was an injected conspiracy designed to redirect us from the real truth's. Basically that aliens arnt here, and we are the ones with flying Saucers!

That sounds very plausible actually - could even explain the whole Roswell thing. Imagine that, all those conspiracy theories and it turns out to be something invented by a cooky old Brit...

lol, Id bet your house on it being exactley that... besides looking at evidence, it seems as if <thats what they didnt want us to think( suspicious). great idea too'knowing people would catch on to the idea of aliens and there space craft' it satisfy's peoples imaginations, and allows for a good cover up until any real truth fades from existence, and thats how the big Oil giants keep there buisness. in cahoots with the Government of course :dozey: ,

seems as though that number 1 book in Britain and the USA has upset the apple cart alot (written by that American TV producer). and opened a few, eyes, its the most amazing factual read, it leaves you bitter about the ruling leaders and organisations.. but thats not really a bad thing. :p

here, anyone can have a go at building a small one, it rotates very fast (so i advise dont stick your finger in it), but its not large enough to show any anti grav/ electrical effects. but it just shows the basic priciple of function. Special configuration is said to be needed when building larger ones. and three rings one inside the other, like a rat run track... the materials are also quite expensive, but if youve got the money its worth the time and effort. http://www.keelynet.com/energy/bedhispd.htm

heard a lot of things about ... oh dear... a lot of things like this... some scientist (sorry can't remember name or source) mentioned that back during the early 1940's it would have only taken about a decade's worth of funding and research to make something behave exactly like a UFO and exist outside of earth's gravity field(i.e. existing in its own field, thus not subject to g-forces, intertia, momentum etc...). besides, the military is always years and YEARS ahead of what we think they are doing. case1, sr-71; case2, f-117a stealth fighter; case3, b-2 stealth bomber... to name a few... think "skunkworks."

...general rule of thumb... the military is always at least 30 years ahead of the consumer market, meaning the latest military techs will be unknown to you and me and everyone else for 30 years... until it's ready to be absorbed by the corporations and put to commercial use. (remember the stealth fighter is now ~25 years old... it was already 15 yrs old by the start of the first gulf war.)
...nsa ~20 years ahead of everything
...cia ~10 (along with some law enforcement stuff fbi dea etc)

very true very intresting, but this technology is seemingly 50 to 60 years old, and thats whats puzzling most people.

I'm not at all surprised by this discovery, it was bound to happen. I was even thinking about a hybrid design of the ion drive, which is already in services by one saterllite (i just added an magnetised core). When i'm bored in my Engineering lessons, i like to design future technologies with my mates. This could mean the end of rockets on space shuttles (that are risky). do you know the limit of such devices (speed, reliability, Health hazards). NASA have started to think seriously about future missions to the moon and mars (manned), could they be using this technology on the next generation space craft. there might be a time (not long) were air flight and space flight is as common as automotives

I am your traitor, train your guns towards my head, and i will bite your bullet for your puppy

so what sort of future technology have you and your mates come up with?

I dont believe this crap :)..

you mean you dont want to believe this crap,. lol. hmmm and I forget sometimes, how much about our reality do we really know? only the stuff we can clearly see , hear, smell, and touch.. Scary stuff though, because its starting to prove itself to scientist as being true (that the universe beyond our senses is linked into everything, creating the essence of electricity which we percieve. and forces such as gravity), and I dont think people want to accept it because they are scared of change. scared of things that are not 'normal to us' .

Beware of my FLYING MACHINE!!!!!!

Wooooooooossssssshhhhhhhhh

this is so cool. nice find clarky.

btw, doesnt really tell u how to make one of them in that site u gave us. i was gonna make on with 12 things on the outside :imu:

Stupid governments need to get their heads out their fat arses and support this crap. I want to fly in a levitating machine! :D

For me, this is something that isn't far out and makes lots of sense. I'm no scientist but if someone told me "Hey, you can levitate an object using a rotating whatever." I wouldn't be surprised.

Hey, if this works and is in fact real, bring it on. We need it.

Psh where have you guys been?

Doesn't everyone have a UFO to fly to school or work?

geez...

if this stuff pulls off...

I'll die happily. I've allways wanted a UFO to call my own..

wow... im looking forward to this

Once again... our lives are getting closer and closer to those of the jetsons...
