Antlion Grubs and Combine Advisors?

Just from speculation, but don't the antlion grubs resemble the Combine Advisors in a small way? Could those small creatures we killed for the HEV Suit power be the powerful mind-controlling Advisors? They bear the resemblence a little, although I don't have pictures to back it up. Can someone help me out?

I know it might be a bit far-fetched, but this whole game is awkward by itself. Just like combine using humans, Combine uses other creatures for there advantage, even it may have to stop from evolving into a antlion. I don't know, they do look a like.

I really don't know, I seen a bit of a similarity, and I was just taking a gander at the "what ifs" of the game, sorda like every other theory. I smoke the good green, it always open your imagination to the world of half-life. ****ing mind blowing I tell ya.

Combine advisors are the only true combine, they are aren't like the enslaved synths like Striders or Gunships, nor like soldiers or CP (modified humans etc) The combine advisors Have massive abilities of telekinetic abilities, and have become so dependant on their combine technology their bodies have degenerated and devolved to the grub like state they exist in. You may notice they have been given metal arms to give them some dexterity, thus showing their further reliance on technology.

I don't really need to disprove this ant lion grub theory as it's plain ridiculous. Grubs are a normal part of nest insects even in our real world, and the combine advisers have evolved backwards to their grub like state. Two completely separate races, with the most remote similarity really not worth writing to home about

Antlion grubs are long and somewhat narrow.
Combine Advisors are short and stubby.

Antlion grubs have a head separate from their body, with a hard exoskeleton.
Combine advisors do not have a separate head.

Antlion grubs have legs, mandibles for eating, and a distinct abdomen region.
Combine advisors do not have natural legs, mandibles, or a distinct abdomen.

Antlion larvae glow.
Combine Advisors do not.

Antlion grubs seem to produce their own silk.
Combine Advisors have not ever been seen in relation to any kind of webs.

Combine advisors have a long, prehensile tongue.
Neither Antlions nor their larvae are seen to have long tongues.

Combine advisors are possessed of powerful psychic powers.

You didnt just offend us , you killed us a little. And this was not even in RtB its just common sense. You seriously have no idea how things work in real life do you? Grubs of one species do not magically turn into mind eating , phychic monsters. They turn into thier adult form (in this case an antlion).

No , im comparing real science which happend to be dipicted in a game to... Well to its self but in real life. From the way it appears antlions have a very similar life cycle to many real world insects (note how none of these turn into some thing completely unrelated to thier species).
