Anything?!

Stop eating. Not only will you see improvement, you'll save yourself money as well.

I've noticed you've been spending an awful lot of time on the internet lately. Almost as much as me, and I'm a fatass. I think that's your answer.

open your mouth less and exercise more. Or join the Chavez's Youth Christian Association (AKA Venezuela's YMCA).

Most diets are absolute shit and do nothing. If you can get your hands on it, try the CSIRO diet. I wasn't even following it, but my mum forcesd me to eat the dinners and I lost wieght.

lol

Just exercise more. Have a higher energy output than energy intake. Basically, waste more calories than you eat.

Also you could do crunches and be sure to do them right. Google that, because doing them wrong is ineffective and like sit-ups you may instead not be exercising your abs but rather working ...I forgot what it was..am I thinking of the hip flexor? idk.

For some reason I've ate mcdonalds a lot lately, and walking about 3-4 miles during the week and I've lost weight, you could always try that...

just eat 3 meals a day (nothing in between) and excercise ..you'll lose it fast

Well.... I'm a bit tubby and I've started to lose weight by taking an interest in my uncles activites (hiking, squash ect.)
I'm off on a 42 Kilometre hike tonight :D I gotta carry about 15-20kg off equipment and food. No problem, my school bag ways that much and half of it will come to be supported by my waist. Bliss :)

I think it has been proven and known and researched that the simplest way to lose weight is to EAT WELL AND EXERCISE. You can sum it up generally as calories burned minus calories eaten equals calories of fat used up. Fat is something like 3500 kcals/lb. So you could theoretically lose a little under a pound a day if you didn't eat anything, not that I recommend that.

As for eating healthier, don't touch anything with refined flour in it. Chips, cookies, crackers, soft bread, cakes, cereal (eat oatmeal). Go easy on the processed foods cause they have a lot of sodium and preservataives. And of course sugar and fat aint helping any. Eat more vegetables. A good meal would be say fajitas. Just fry some lean beef, peppers and onions in olive oil. Wrap it up with cheese, tomatoes, and lettuce. Tastes good. Or baked chicken with rice and steamed vegetables. Shit like that.

P.S. since when can I say shit on the forum?

Actually he should eat 5-6 smaller meals during the day to keep his metabolism constantly going. He should also exercise 30-60 minutes a day.

You would think that the human metabolism was designed around fewer larger meals whenever food was available. I doubt we evolved in an environment where there was something to eat every other hour.

You would think that? That's an odd thing to think...

That's just it tho, metabolism kicks in when we eat and slows down when we haven't eaten in a while. When you are eating healthy natural foods this is ideal because it efficiently uses calories. However when eating bad processed foods ( a relatively new phenomena, one our bodies haven't adapted to) you are taking in too many calories and so it helps to "trick" our metabolism into ramping up.

Eating 3 meals a day is for fat people and farmers lololololol.

A lot of South Americans only eat one meal a day at lunch and they are mostly pretty skinny

To GAIN weight you need to eat food 3 or 4 times between meals a day. 3 meals a day then say 2 small meals in between each one. I think.

If you're looking to loose weight, don't try diets. Working out will definately help but no fat camp style weight loss nazi death camp ideas.

Another great way to loose weight is to do things in your life that generate less stress.

Which is a double whammy for me.
Running & Jogging = Me Loose Weight.
What makes my stress go away = Running/Jogging/Walking/well...just getting sweaty.

It's a problem for me. I've had runaway weight gain for the past year, and its really disturbing. I tell myself to only eat at mealtimes and to eat healthily, like I have at the past, but whenever I come into contact with food, I just eat it. It's not like I want it, its not like I'm thinking about it, its not like it gives me pleasure, I simply eat where there is food, without thinking about it, like breating. Then, an hour later I realize "wait a minute, did I just eat four slices of bread?"

So, my only option is to get away from food and buy my meals elsewhere...but this is impossible, because the kitchen is the largest and most central room in my house, and food is always just sitting out. I think I could solve it just by going out and walking around the neighborhood and doing more things outside of the house, so I don't come into contact with food.

You want to eat more meals, but smaller meals. DO NOT eat until you're full, Only eat until you're hot hungry or satisfied. Food is generally available, so don't be afraid to occasionally slightly under-eat & then go back for more if you're still hungry in 20-40 minutes.

Keep that ballance and you'll have more energy and hunger or cravings won't bother you as much.

If you have regular meals, try eating something small (An apple maybe) 20 mins before the meal. Once you start eating, if you are still eating 20 mins later, your body will stop feeling hungry, regardless of how much you have actually eaten.

Seriously, you need to exercise more and eat healthier, the amount of food matters not much as long as it's not more than you already eat. Eat salads and meat without fat.

It should be healthiest then to just walk around with an iv drip of vitamins and glucose and you can spread your entire days food out into a constant stream of tiny "meals"

Nothing satisfies hunger like nutrients injected directly into the bloodstream.
