Any good Half-Life modding sites?

I'm looking for a site that walks you through modding half life 1 (on the coding side I mean). I "know" C++, but have no experience with 3d stuff. The closest thing I've done is a little scripting for tribes 2 (which is basically C though).
I am looking for something like code3arena is for quake 3... I want to learn on half life 1 so I'll have a bit of a head start on HL2, since I remember reading somewhere that a lot of the code will be recognizable.
