hey,
ok, first I've compiled my model with about 24 textures... since they

were all psds.... lol! hell I tell you... but now I have gotten the

Mauser M2 exported full with textures and all now my only problem is

to get the bones and arms to work, I am looking on replacing the

arms and bones but yet no luck, here are some pics of it in hlmv but

my last question is, has anyone sucessfully taken the hands and

gotten them to work with their model? if so it would be greatly

appreciated if you could help me, thanks :) als oif you'd like

pictures of it in 3d studio max I have the bones imported and

everyhitng, I have the envelopes assigned to the mauser, but I

just don't get it... thanks :) if anyone is good with animating then

maybe they could thgrow a few tips this way?

polygon count = 1600 unoptimizted :)

also, it tends to look very bland in hlmv, but not in max? lol

err yea u need a pair of hands in raw formats, rigged up, and i dont think valve released any so ur stuck with making ur own.
i gotta get mine uved and skinned.

... you have to model, rig, and animate the hands as a part of your model.

Use cannonfodders .mdl decompiler to look at the .qc files and hands that valve used.

I am no animator... lol, they are pretty complicated...

animating a hand isn't that complicated. If you film a reload you should be able to rotoscope it in max without too much of a fuzz. I could have given it a try if there's a way to do this in maya... :)
