Im searching for a great crt for within 250-300 preferrably black.. can somebody help?? Thanks in advance to anyone.

A CRT within 250-300$? Are you looking at a 19" monitor or larger?
Here are a few 19" monitors from the lower price range going up.
ViewSonic 19"
Samsung 19"
NEC/Mitsubishi 19"
ViewSonic 19"
NEC/Mitsubishi 19"

and the lowest costing 21" is a Philips.

Shadow Mask gives a sharper picture.
Aperture Grille gives a richer picture.

I was looking at that same ViewSonic, Asus, but changed my mind for this:

Anyway, I have a Samsung monitor that r0xx0rz the b0xx0rz for around $300-350. SyncMaster 957p. I love it. Can run it on 100 HZ/110 HZ on 1024x768 if I want. Not that I need to

Yeah, I did all my research on VS' site. Easier to see the full selection rather than just what Newegg offers.

A friend of mine's girlfriend knows the owner of a Circuit City (owner = her friend's dad), so, because they're so close, my friend is getting a $2,200 dollar LCD flat-screen monitor (too lazy to get a picture/specs/item page) for only about $100 DOLLARS.
