Any one modeled a good colt m1911 a1?

i have servrel pics of colt m1911 a1, but the problem i cant find one that i see the barrel, or a front end of a gun that matchs the side of a gun. even editing the pic they dont match. so if ony one have good pics of a m1911 a1 where they have the front "a back pic would be good" and side pic that match that would be super.

Same problem here, stopped modelling because I couldn't find decent pics.

You cannot really match a model made from a side picture to a front picture, it just does not work.

well if you cant got any tips and tricks for it? cause if at least i had a ref to start with, like the tip of a barrel.

ChrisArt was u on the mapping forums as well? in my thingy thread about the best mapper..... Or am I getting confused? if so what mod team do you work for?

Nope im not mapping until HL2 gets released, and currently im working for "The Stalingrad Offensive" wich is put on pause until HL2 gets released. Other than that im not really doing anything for any team at the moment.
