That game was awesome. Good strategy element and fun game play. The only thing that sucked about it was most of the time in multiplayer you had to wait until people were finished their turn and that usually took 5 minutes. I loved that game. I never played 4 yet and I heard there was a 5 coming out. Sweet! :bounce:

Was pretty cool, Heroes of Might and Magic was ther only turn based strategy series i got into. Loved being 'good' an just getting loads of Angels, though being a Necromancer with Ghost Dragons i think they were was pretty wild

I played this game for years; I loved it! I only ever played a few missions of the campaign too, for me the real appeal of the game was in the free play maps where you could play as whoever you wanted. I always really liked Tower.

I thought Heroes IV was awful, especially the music. I played it for about an hour before I uninstalled it and started playing Heroes III again. Heroes V is shaping up quite nicely though.

Lol my dad is addicted to this game. :E I got into it myself for awhile.... then I quit when the campaign started to get wicked hard. :o

Oh my god! Words cannot begin to describe the lack of sleep, the unwritten homework, the games periods skived, when this game reached my boarding house... ah, the memories. Multiplayer works well as hot seat all humans vs computers, or networked turns - if you minimise the game it automatically pops up again when it's your turn.

I loved playing that game with a friend on the same comp. It was a ton of fun.

Another game kinda like it that I liked too was Warlords III. There were so many variations rather than just the medieval setting each with all new units and stuff.

The Heroes of Might and Magic games were awesome, I'm looking forward to their 5th game :)

I used to play HOMM3 all the time, but not in a few years. My dad still plays it constantly though.
