Any other Nvidia fix type things?

I have a Nvidia FX5600 (Gonna get a 9800 Pro and sell the FX to a friend). As stated 100 times on the forums it defaults to DX8 which I force to 8.1. I've forced it to 9.0 & got the low framerates with it. I've overclocked the card as much as I can w/out errors and have the stock fan on it, and 2 large fans on the back of it for Xtra cooling. I've used the 3DAnalyze program which lets me use DX9.0 but the shading is all weird as everything is brighter and the flashlight becomes flashdark. Whenever I use my flaslight, it darkens the area instead. Are there any other progs to push my card harder cause I gained like...2-3fps when I overclocked it to the max. (Used/using Rivatuner) Just another question because I cant find too many Nvidia tweaks. I REFUSE to use that Nvidia Ntune program, I had to replace my motherboard when I bumped the AGP Mhz up ONE. USB ports stopped working.

Hey, just look on www.guru3d.com they have loads of nVidia fixes, also don't attempt to play HL2 on a FX5600 with DX9 settings, it isn't a dx9 card.

Yes it is a dx9 card..well it can run on Dx9 but very poorly
VALVe put it on DX 8.1 becos DX9 was unplayable.
