I love a song called Lucha De Gigantes by Nacha Pop which appears in a fantastic scene from my favourite movie, Amores Perros. I've love to know what the lyrics actually mean though, so if there's anyone here fluent in Spanish, could you translate them for me? Thanks in advance.

Lucha de gigantes
convierte,
el aire en gas natural
un duelo salvaje
advierte,
lo cerca que ando de entrar
En un mundo descomunal
siento mi fragilidad.

Vaya pesadilla
corriendo,
con una bestia detras
dime que es mentira todo,
un sueno tonto y no mas
Me da miedo la enormidad
donde nadie oye mi voz.

Deja de enganar
no quieras ocultar
que has pasado sin tropezar
monstruo de papel
no se contra quien voy
o es que acaso hay alguien mas aqui?

Creo en los fantasmas terribles
de algun extrano lugar
y en mis tonterias
para hacer tu risa estallar

En un mundo descomunal
siento tu fragilidad.

Deja de enganar
no quieras ocultar
que has pasado sin tropezar
monstruo de papel
no se contra quien voy
o es que acaso hay alguien mas aqui?

Deja que pasemos sin miedo.

Fight of giants
turns,
the natural gas air
a wild duel
notices,
surrounds it that I walk to enter
an extraordinary world
I feel my fragility.
Nightmare goes
running,
with a beast behind
tell me that everything is lie,
I sound idiot and but
it does not give to fear the enormidad Me
where nobody hears my voice.
It lets deceive
you do not want to hide
that you have happened without encountering
paper monster
not against that I go
or is that perhaps somebody has but here?
I believe in the terrible ghosts
of some strange place
and in my trivialities
to explode your laughter
In an extraordinary world
I feel your fragility.
It lets deceive
you do not want to hide
that you have happened without encountering
paper monster
not against that I go
or is that perhaps somebody has but here?
It leaves we happen without fear.

Online translators own the shit out of fluent speaking people, just look at that grammar!

what the heck at this song?

Spanish doesn't make sense. At all.

It makes more sense than english. Por ejemplo, they give the noun first, and then the adjectives. The noun's the important part, the adjective are just extra shit. It's to the point.

Spanish is pretty awesome actually, I can communicate on like a kindergartener's level in it which gets me by in the rare situation I have to use it. It does make more sense than English... but so do most languages.

What you just said in English makes perfect sense.
