I have a Logitech headset and mic right now. It's the one pictured here:http://www.logitech.com/lang/images/0/5627.jpg

It gets the job done but its pretty bulky and uncomfortable.

I'm looking for something more like this here: http://www.plantronics.com/north_america/en_US/productName/Voyager510 or http://www.plantronics.com/north_america/en_US/productName/MX505

Does someone make a computer/gaming headset that is as compact as that? It looks like those are all meant for cellphones. Could I just plug it into the microphone input of my soundcard? It looks like the same kind of headphone jack. (Audigy ZS 2)

Thanks for your time and suggestions. :)

lol!

I had that exact same Logitech headset. They were great while they lasted, which was about 7 months. Now I've got an expensive pair of Sennheisers and am loving them.

I don't know about Plantronics or the compact ones you're talking about, but they do look nice. Check over at http://www.sennheiserusa.com/newsite/. They might have something that'll suit what you are looking for.

Thanks for the help. I checked over at sennheiser.com but I didn't see anything that looks similar to the plantronics. There's got to be something out there.

Any more suggestions?

HAHA i use those logitechs now- i found them REALLY bloody uncomfortable in the first week, then they must altered the shape of my head, cos now they're great. You look like a goober wearing them, but then, who needs to look cool chatting over VOIP while playing online games?

i have a pair of plantronic headphones/mic, they're pretty sweet but i just discovered the mic is dead as of yesterday, no clue what happened but i have dropped the headset a few times

Never really thought of using a bluetooth headset with a pc. Not sure if it would work with like a bluetooth keyboard and mouse or a bluetooth usb stick thing. Would be cool if it did though.

Wouldn't mind knowing that too, going to buy myself a pair of sennheisers soon.

Enough about joule's Sennheiser headphones!!! :P

What about my original question? Does anyone have some information?

I have a feeling that mobile phone jacks are not 1/8" jacks, could be wrong though.
