I have 2 problems, 1 of them is terribly frusterating and the other is just something that will speed my computer up.

1. What is the command that will bring up the window so i can choose what i want to run on startup..enable/disable..etc.

2. Any ideas on what in the hell i can do about this?

Try downloading patches for office. Go to Microsoft.com and select office updates in the left column.
