Anyone able to sign-in to your friends list?

I've been trying for the last 3days and it won't connect. I can use every other part of steam just fine, expect for that..

I also cant connect to friends so VALVe is probably maintaining some server or something.

yeah, same here, and i want to play CS with my buddys so bad!!! oh well, i guees ill stick it out.

edit- i also wonder why steam hasnt released any "news" or info on why its not working....... maybe they dont know about it? lol i emailed them with my questions yesterday, and have yet to receive any info.
