Anyone else a little short on funds for HL2?

Well, it seems like after all this time, after a year and a half of waiting, HL2 is finally being released....for real. Unfortunately I find myself in a depressing situation, I don't have enough money to buy it......ouch.

I was planning on the gold steam package, but when you're in college sometimes certain expenses come up that you can't avoid. I'm in between jobs at the moment so I literally don't have any money to spare.

This isn't a "please give me money" thread, I was just curious if anyone was in the same situation as myself.
