Anyone else go looking for the game?

okay, so like, i took a drive today...and was able to find hl2 in 4 stores...my wife found it in 8...it's like an giant easter egg hunt.LoL Anyway, that's 12 stores we found today...gotta love some excitement that gets ya outta tha house!

Anyway, we were looking for Bloodlines, as i alreday have a couple of steam coupons. I have not been able to find this game, or the strategy guide...anyone having better luck?

"STEAM coupons" won't help you buy bloodlines I'm afraid!

I checked the futureshop site this morning, and saw that they had updated it to say that it(HL2) was in stock...so i went to check it out(hoping to find bloodlines for my wife)...every one i went to, as well as 2 bestbuy's, and a few walmarts my wife was at had it.

Good god, I totally forgot about Bloodlines! Heh, i don't think you'll find that one out early. It isn't anywhere near as anticipated as HL2, and I don't think any store wants to be the first one to sell early and get fined.

I just got back from my best buy ... They didnt have it on display but the guy told me they have 60 regulars in the back and 12 ce's ... *yikes* I better get there fast ... but i wont be getting home until 6:00 pm that day so ... aaaaah!

Bloodlines

Guys, at the BestBuy I work at, the hard street date for Bloodlines is 11/16, however, it says we won't receive it until 11/18, but who knows, stuff comes early sometimes, but it's rather accurate. Last month it said it'd be late november, but the game's been done, and yes I know it'll be there that week, because they're already "inbound" which means they were shipped and are on their way, rather than being "on order" which only tells how many we'll get on the next shipment. This'll be a great gaming week.

lol I just got back from best buy. I called the place and they said they would bring out the display at 6pm sharp. Apparently a bunch of other people heard this too, so when I got to the store, it was like a flash mob of 20 people waitng in the game section of the store. Some had hl2 shirts and hats on, so we all waited there and talked about the game and had a good time for like 20 min. Then suddenly, a flash of light came from the storage room. A gigantic box shaped display with hl2 games came out of the double doors on this forklift moving thingy. The second the display came out the doors escorted by 2 people, the entire mob swarmed the damn thing! LOL IT WAS AMAZING! Everyone just RAN as fast as they could and grabbed any copy they could. I was in the middle of it all and people's hands were grabbing left and right. I practically crawled away from the mob. Everyone in the store was looking at us like what the hell are they doing?!! LOL It was so great!
