Anyone else HATE matchmaking?

I absolutely hate it. Every single time it sets me up with an American server and i'm Australian. And its always Waterworks or Ascension that i end up playing on. Its so damn annoying.

I heard that apparently, bungie are going to add a server browser. Anybody know if thats true?

I dont like the fact that it takes a really long time to find a server. A server browser would be much better I think. IMO rainbow 6 on xbox did a lot of things right with multiplayer on xbox live and I was hoping bungie would do what rainbow 6 did. It was very easy to get into a server and get into one you want.

I'm pretty sure they've said the WON'T be adding a server browser.

Yeah, matchmaking is really getting old.

I find games pretty fast usually. Within like 30 seconds I'd say. I like it...but there's some maps and gametypes that I just hate. I wish they'd add something like WC3 has so you can filter out maps or gametypes that you don't want to play. I hate Colossus :flame: It's such a bad map for Oddball and I can't stand CTF on it either (I play team skirmishes mostly)

they cant change to the good way of matchmaking, from games like rtcw, becuase their new crappy system is a huge part of the game programming and cant be change

Do what I do. Start off with matchmaking, then invite a bunch of people to your party. Keep doing this till you have enough people, and start playing custom games.
