I'm worried about this now. I've got $120 down on a psp and I just called my local EB games, asked if they're getting enough to fill the reserves, and the guy said "We're not sure yet because they're only shipping one million to the whole country, call back friday evening and we should know." .... I'm worried =(. If EB doesnt get enough i'm sure as hell waiting for a few hours before they open to get one, thats if they don't do a midnight launch, or else I'll be there around 10.

...Anyone else a bit worried about this?

I'm not at all worried. But then again, I wasn't going to get a PSP and there aren't any EB's in my country anyway.

They could melt down every PSP in the world and I still wouldn't care.

wouldnt worry me
i dont know if i would want to get one anyway probably a nintendo DS

anway, PSPs are way too damn expensive, maybe once it goes down to $150 dollars

$150? Hmm... never. They're already selling them at a considerable loss. Someday you may be able to buy just a solo PSP for $200, but I bet that's as low as they go. And as to people worried about not getting one: 1 million initially shipping. That means there are enough for 1 in 280 people. Do you really think that many people in the US are that interested? I bet there will be plenty even without preordering. Not that I'm planning on getting one, at least not until I can see how the support and feature upgrades develop. Anyway, don't worry so much.

Umm..nope not worried because I won't be buying one.

All the PSP's could blow up, the people who designed it get raped...terroists bomb the factories that make it.. The way to design it is burned..

I'd just start laughing and go and play a game.

I don't have the money to buy one, but I'm not worried either way....... Only 9 more months, 9 days (thank you Mr. Clock!) until Christmas :D

I hope they go down in price, or maybe by XMas they will have second generation that maybe improves battery life, helps UMD ejection issue, maybe the Square button issue, and possibly some way to prevent fingerprints (nah)

I would get a PSP but the hell if I am going to pay $50+ for a game on a portable.

The UMD Ejection was only happening because some retards were twisting their systems.

European PSP release postponed

Alright, Vigilante, you're getting a serious answer from me this time. Sony is expecting so much demand in the US, they're postponing the European release. To quote a spokesperson: "It is likely to be a matter of a few months rather than a few weeks." You can read about it here.
