The Mod that I am working on is slowly dieing. We need new members to get it back on it’s wheels and rolling.
It seems that there are no more people left to work on any Mods as they are part of their own. The answer came to my head!
Merge the two Mods to restart them back into working order.

My Mod, Half-Life : Episodes, is one of the few Mods able to handle another layer of plot. Episodes has been planed to include many Episodes, or mini-mods and thus could include the plot of the Mod we merged with, without any strain.

If any Team Leaders would be interested would they please PM or email me:

just out of curiosity, why would putting two dying mods together end up doing anything other than make them die slower ? :O Perhaps you should kick inactive team members, revitalize your plans and start anew. just my 2¢

Because one of the 'dying' mods may have team members the other 'dying' mod didn't and vice-versa, and bingo...a full team!

or something along those lines

Yep, Gonzo got it in one.
But i've just been placed Team Leader, as our old one had to resign due to College. I'm trying to get the Mod flowing again, but we need more ppl to do that...

We also need a coder, and a modler, if anyone wants to joins please PM me

I'd recommend trying to look into those things yourselves for a start. In a month you'd learn enough C++ to be able to modify the basic things your mod needs, perhaps even more if you're a fast learner and spend enough time with it. The same goes for modelling. A month well spent time with it and you'd be able to make decent object models if nothing else. Work on your documentation of the project (yeh, I'm a documentation freek), and your organization of the project.

Perhaps these are partly reasons for why members are loosing interest?

If your attitude leans towards doing nothing because essential possitions aren't filled, then chances are it will stay that way. Go get your hands dirty with the code, you'll soon realize it isn't that difficult. Or try getting your fingers filthy with the modelling part, you'll realize it isn't that hard either.

Perhaps you won't be able to create all the fancy visuals you'll want in the final build of the mod, and perhaps coding wise you won't be able to code the most advanced features you've planned. But surely you could manage quite a lot without competent help. And by showing effort like this, chances are that competent people will show more interest in your project, and in the end join you.

The "our-project-stands-still-because-we-lack-a-coder-and-a-modeller" excuse is getting a little bit old ;)

Trefall: I know what you mean by "our-project-lacks-coder..." and i am working hard on the script and hopefully my learning to code might pay off, but i don't have handfuls of spare time.
