Hi all, I need some help with my gaming, but on the hiding side

My dad is a total nazi when it comes to games and I was wondering if anyone could help me disguise or hide them.

I have 2 dilemas,
1. I need to disguise the disk usage, SCCT is 3.1 gb and I only have 15 or so to use so I want to know how to stop the section in the HDD explorer window stay frozen at "Free Space: 15.3 GB" even when it has actually dipped to about 12.

2. How can I make so that a search with the Search button on explorer won't find it. I already know how to delete it from Add/remove programs and I need it gone from Search. I put a folder in C:\Windows\System32\1088 and it got found, so obviously it needs to go deeper or something.

Thanks in advance guys.

Just tell your dad if you don't get your gaming he won't see you again.

Easiest and safest solution I can think of:
Install the game
Burn the folder for it onto a DVD
Play the game
Delete the folder
When you want to play again, insert CD, drag folder.

This will add 5 mins onto the start up time of the game, but it will stop it showing up, and make the file size look right.

Yeah, I don't think you can hack the registry to do those kinda things.

Umm, why exactly is your dad against installing this game? (splinter cell right?
Is it because of the disk usage and stuff or the content of the game?

I think rather than doing something behind his back you should just talk about it...even if you don't think it will get you anywhere, just don't try and solve it by disobeying your parent(s) as it will likely end up making things worse.

It's true. My stepmother wouldn't let me play Diablo because of the name. She is one of the bigger hypocrhistians, so she is "The lords pawn" but she refuses to act like it. Anyway, I was playing Diablo, and she comes up, "What's that?"
"Diablo"
"OMFG GET THAT OUT OF MY HOUSE!"
"Uhhh, you're playing a game that is bent on you DEFEATING DIABLO!"
"I DONT CARE GET IT OUT!"

So I played it behind her back for months, my dad finds it, he doesn't say anything. She finds it, my disks and computer are MIA. WTF. God damnit I'm glad I'm on my own .

1) Dad's against it MAINLY for size, but also content. I don't get it, last time I checked, there wasn't much blood in SC and 3.1 GB is pretty big for him, especially on a 40GB HDD.

Second, talking to him would only make things worse, he's hyper aggresive and I can barley get through with being allowed to play W3. Shooters are OUT.

C) Doing it behind his back is fun, predominently because it's the only way anything can get done.

(Yes I am aware I went 1 2nd C)

Edit: Mum doesn't really care.
