Anyone here clocked Saints Row (360) ?

I'm finding the 'Insurance Fraud' task pretty difficult... The part where you've got to throw yourself infront of cars to get money from insurance fraud. There just arent enough cars coming my way to get me 15,000 dollars in the 3 minutes or so that I get. Most I can get is 8k and that's with getting a perfect bounce off the bonnet of every car that comes along.

Anyone got any pointers?

I rely on luck unfortunately. The best thing I find is to wait around for the faster cars, dive in front of them and watch your lifeless ragdoll flip 20 feet in the air. It doens't always happen like that, but it's worth a crack.

15k is easy, it's when you get into the 100's it's trouble

Just wait for the fast cars, try getting hit by a speeding cop car for a big bonus

Trust me, once you beat the single-player it's BOOOORING. The MP is bascially a bunch of little white kids acting black and yelling into the mic

Ahh I've just worked out the best way. Get in a cop car and drive head-on into another car. You get a 2x multiplier for being in a cop car, another multiplier for flying through the windscreen, another multiplier for hitting another car, and you get a lot of injuries (lots of money to multiply)... I got 74,000 in one crash!

What put me off completing the game was having to get ****ing respect to start a mission. I found the respect quests so goddamned tedious and boring. Couldn't stand them.

Fun game otherwise, though.

Yeah it is a bit boring getting the respect up. If I get bored, I just save it and then put all the cheats on and go off on a fun-spree. Rocket launcher = train wrecks

And then when the fun is over, I restart it, load the save and carry on.

QFE. Ridiculous amount of fun blowing up trains. This one time I was on top of one the train carriages, just blowing shit up as I went by, when a police chopper started flying right alongside me, the SWAT members taking pot shots from literally a few metres away at my level, so I put a RPG round right into the nose of the chopper, it swerved to the right then nosedived right into the side of the train, succesfully derailing the entire 4-carriage long engine. Was intense.

Love shooting down choppers and watching the police members inside them go flying.

I found insurance fraud pretty easy, tbh. Like many of the activities, it is based on luck a bit. Where the scoring zone ends up is a big factor - you'll score up much quicker on a long, wide stretch of road than a small one with lots of intersections. Same way you can pass any mayhem level by just waiting until it gives you unlimited RPG with a bonus for using it

Yea, Insurance Fraud is most fun, but stupidly easy.. I got the 100K in like 30 seconds - You just need to be on a highway, and if not possible - make your guys fly into a fast car, and with luck you'll get witness bonuses, distance, multiple cars, etc. But try to throw yourself into cop cars/ambulances, you get like x5 for that.

It was weird when I started a new game - I had to do like $10,000, and ended up getting like 75K with my first shot.. It just said "LOTS".. heh.
