I'm giving some serious thought to joining the NAVY. I just want to know if the recruters are feeding me a load of crap or if it will really be a worthwhile endevor. Anyone have any thoughts?
Have you no patience? Just over ten minutes and you feel the need to bump your own thread...
I was in the navy...or maybe I dreamt I was in the navy. Maybe I was a sailor dreaming he was dreaming he was in the navy.
Anyway...I found pleasure, and I searched the world for treause. One might say I even learnt science and technology. Oh how I made all my dreams come true, on land and sea. I even learnt to fly, to play in sports and to skin dive. I studied oceanography. I signed on for the big band...or did I sit in the grandstand? In the navy...Yes, I could sail the seven seas. In the navy...Yes I could put my mind at ease. In the navy...I fell in and made a stand. In the navy...I leant my hand. In the navy...I did protect the motherland. In the navy...I did join my fellow man. In the navy...I was with people to make a stand. In the navy...
In the navy...
In the navy...
I think I was the one who had to wear traditional naval 'indian' costume.
Edit: You should see if you can contact Ghostvalkyrie. He is currently in the navy
I live in portsmouth and there's lots of navy folk here, a recruitment centre right opposite the library. Coincidentaly there's also a YMCA centre. Im not sure which i should join once i get my degree.
