So I'm looking for a new web based game to go to now that I'm done with Cybernations.

Has anybody heard of Ogame. And more importantly, has anybody played it? I am thinking I might give it a shot, and see what fun can be had.

Apparently it's some web based space empire building game, and just from that alone it sounds interesting to me.

I've played it a couple of times. Both times I played it for a few weeks and then just quit. It is really in depth and complex if you're looking for that sort of thing. Me, I like something that I can check once a day and not have to do anything else, which is why I've played Cybernations for around 6 months now.

Man... Cybernations has me incredibly bummed. I was doing so well for the longest time. I was raking in 3-5 million a day after taxes, and was within the top 1000 for a long time. I had joined a small group of friends in an alliance, and a bit after I did that some great war rolled around and the side my alliance was on lost, and due to the actions of some of the members of the alliance I was in, despite me surrendering fully to the terms offered by me and dismantling my power military and nuclear arsenal, I was designated on their Kill On Sight list. that happened recently, and so I've decided because of that stupidity I was going to quit the game.

TIP: Don't join an alliance unless you're willing to be ZIed for that alliance(ZI= Zero infrastructure) or perma-ZIed.

Oh man, I used to play this web-based game where you have to survive zombie infestation, other players can rob you, work with you, you can have skills... That was a good game, but I can't remember what it was called.. Only thing I actually remember about gameplay is that it's all a square-grid you move around..

My friends played Ogame.

Dog, are you talking about Urban Dead?

I've played a ton of these browser games and as far as I'm concerned Nexus War is the best by a mile.

Yeah I was inches away from ZI in the last great war. I barely got out of there alive, so I joined a totally neutral alliance headed by people that I played with back when I started. I'm still in the recovery process right now.

I played Ogame for a couple of months, but I didn't find it that interesting.

I was a major player of the game. I quit because of Smokey kicked my butt for the millionth time. I know about RAWK, etc but I never joined that alliance and I despise them. The game forces you to give up your real life and devote to it like it's a job. In fact it plays mental games with you. You forge friendships only to get your way and you really have to form an alter ego for the game. Things such as fleet saving, and getting your fleet crashed made me leave the game. Look me up on the ogame forums to find out more about me. ;) Btw get me on Steam Raziaar, I'll give you some tips lol.

In my humble opinion, Ogame is the dumbest game I have ever played. If you can stay up all night long to plan attacks while normal people is sleeping, you win.
No, thanks.

Have any better recommendations?
