im new to the game and when i play online there is no one online, is it me or has anyone els got this problem?

How are you playing online? In Steam open the Servers box,go to Change Filters and check "Has users playing". A list of all the servers with people in them should show up. Pick one and enjoy.

Or Add Server, and paste 82.136.36.12:27016 into it. Thats the Halflife2.net server, theres no-one on at the moment, but there usually is later.
