Make sure that you have SourceForts Mod Client Version 1.4.2. If you downloaded it from FilePlanet more likely than not it is the unofficial 1.5b client. You can find mirrors for 1.4.2 at our website, SourceFortsMod.com.

Why is there another verison out?

The other version was released without consent from a now banned beta team and staff member. Fileplanet staff have not gotten back to us about removing it. The banned beta team member who was also coding version 1.5 left the development team and went off to make his own mod, NeoForts, which you might have heard of before. The story is long boring, and full of slander, wrongs, and all around unprofessional behavior.

I havn't played this yet, just downloading now, like the screenshots and feedback though, sounds like your doing a good job.

Well, the mod is certainly gaining in popularity, and 1.9 should cure most of the major problems that are experienced with 1.4.2. Most notably the crashing.

I downloaded neoforts. Its not QUITE as good as sourceforts, but... The buy menu looks a lot better, but its missing some other stuff.

I cant wait for a new version of sourceforts. HOPEFULLY with turrets. That would be nice.
