Best game ever.

I want to replay it so hard, but I don't have a ****ing PS1 memory card. Fail. Mega fail.

I played a few levels without saving last night, and god damn. It's still just as good as it was when I was 8.

The music is ****ing GREAT (have yet to hear a game soundtrack as awesome), the level design is ****ing ingenious, the controls are even MORE ingenious, and the graphics are so damned well done. You can just tell they put a shitload of effort into everything.

I dunno why, but ape escape 2 just isn't as awesome as ape escape 1.

I tried replaying the second and just kept thinking to myself "wow, the original was so much better".

No idea why though, but it just was, and still is.

The first, the apes are always throwing shit at you, and running at the speed of light.

The second is pretty much "Sprint sprint sprint CATCH!"

Oh well. I'm going to make it my goal over the break to replay the first and second, and then maybe see if I can't find the third in a store.

I loved this as a kid, I also really like the Tomba games. I think I only played the second one, Return of the Swine or something.

You need a dual shock controller to play the game.

In my experience, emulators barf all over themselves when you stick the ape escape disc in.

PSX Emulators have improved alot now. The best ones are ePSXe (although it requires some configuring) and another one I can't rememeber the name of. The best place to get them is Zophar's Domain.

There's nothing better than playing old PSX titles like Duke Nukem: Time To Kill at high res with improved rendering.

Ah yes I loved this game as a kid

I spent forever trying to get 100% in this game to face spectre for the final time but then I never played it again cos there was nothing left to do

I never played any other ape escape games

I remember this game, mad fun and would replay it to this day I lost my copy though so fail.
