Hi I'm currently doing a port of a hl1 map to hl2. All goes well in Hammer and the map compiles fine, but whenever I try to run it in-game I get a Windows Application Error:
The instruction at "0x2406dd69" referenced memory at "0x0176facc". The memory could not be read.
I don't think there anything wrong with hl2. I've made other maps and such, but they work fine. The only difference between them and this is that I used the .bsp from hl1 and converted to .map and then opened it to edit with hl2 and retextured it and added new entities (deleted all the old ones). If you guys don't have a fix, could you give me an email address of someone who could? (at Valve maybe??)
-Oh yea, I did a a search of the forums and didn't find anything, so don't flame me if this issue has been addressed before.
