Are the games on Steam free? I have friends who want to play tfg and cs with me, but I dont know if the games/mods are free anymore..

I know they were free with the beta, but it was rumored that you had to have a cdkey to play after beta. Is this true or are the games still free?

well u need to have ur HL cd and the cdkey that came with it... and assuming u have them both, yes all mods are downloadable in Steam cache files.
