Are there any other good kick-@$$ sword fighting games like Ninja Gaiden or Seven S.?

I've been trying to decide on wether or not I should get PS2 or Xbox.
I want PS2 for Seven Samurai 20XX.
And I want Xbox for Ninja Gaiden.
But what other games of same kick ass sword-play are out there?
Don't mention the following because either I already know it or I don't like it.

Soul Calibur 2 is an awesome game chock full of various blades and fun. I'd call it the best sword-related game I've ever played.

You can get it for all 3 major systems too.

severance blade of darkness is a killer game one pc you can probly pick it up for a 5er if your lucky. its like a scrolling... errrr sword 'um up. can do loads of really nice combos and specil moves and really really big swords.. give it a go

Seconded. Only thing I have against it is the lack of sidestepping when not in combat -- otherwise it's got a really nice Conan-esque ambience. Being able to finish off your opponents by beating them to death with their own severed limbs [picked up off the floor, mid-combat] is huge fun...

Love to see a decent party-oriented proper RPG done in the same style of Severence.

Well there is a Ninja game called Tenchu: Wrath of Darkness i think for the Xbox and PS2. Its updated with online play and alot of other things for the Xbox version so id go with that.

i was always the barbarian i just lived the "Big Sword" was so cool ahh i wanna play that game again now there where so many cool combo's and cool moves would could do. is a very pritty game as well the water looks really and general alround gfx and animation are great

GO BUY IT!

pretty fun.

I tried the PC version of Return of The King-Kick ass.
And The Two Towers...just what I was looking for.
