I always see these auctions, where you pay like $100 for something that costs $4000 like THIS

So could I bid on this and acually get this for $250 Canadian?

P.S. I don't mean this particular auction, I mean REAL aauctions that are low priced like this one... I know this one is fake, The guy said he was hacked..

I wouldn't buy a computer, or laptop for that matter, off eBay. That's just me.

Q: Hiya, do you know if these fit oversized bars or standard? Cheers, Jared.

Q: For a laptop how come you do not offer Insurance on delivery option. Thanks

Hmm... I'm thinking it's not legit.

I know his account was hacked, I'm saying these TYPES of auctions, I mean you could search for, lets say a washing machine, and it is supposedly "Brand new" and you could bid on it for like $100, Would that be a real auction? could you bid and acually get that washer?

hmmm i shoulda read that, i just made myslf sound like an ass he. and yeah i don't believe any of them

Uh, I wouldnt trust buying technical equipment off ebay.

Usually people set a reserve so say they start biudding at $1 for a high priced item, if it doesnt get high enough they dont have to sell.

But sometimes people will just take what they can get so who knows, always try to get things cheap if the auction is legit (make sure youre not buying a box or something)

Key word. Stupidly enough, it costs MORE money to set the beginning price of an item on eBay to higher amounts. So everyone starts at 99 cents, which saves like 10 bucks. The reserve price makes sure it doesn't sell until it reaches a reasonable price.

It is a good idea not to put a reserve on some stuff; I listed my gamecube with a reserve and it got up to 90 bucks. But then I listed it without a reserve and got 160 for it. People don't generally like a reserve because the entire point of an auction is to get something for cheap. BTW this is legit im sure as many people start listings at $.99. The items usually get bid up into very high price ranges.
