hell yeah, i had around 120 fps on some levels like dust now im down to 20 fps and even lower in fire fights ... all came after the latest update

haven't been able to fix it and it's driving me mad and the worst part is that valve has put up the wall of silence on this subject.
haven't said a peep even though there are a huge amount of people have the exact same problem.

This worked for me.

Delete "clientregistry.blob" in steam folder then restart steam. it will download sumthing then its fixed.

Aint that true? They do something great they are all over helping people. They create a huge problem that many people are furious about and they are in the dark until they have a solution.

And Dark8, i tried that, it was nice that it refreshed my lists and put everything in order, but didnt fix the problem

ok thats wiered...try deleting "platform.gcf" as well as "clientregisty.blob" that should work...if not..ur doomed! :|

just give it ago this one will take longer then the clientregistry.blob
