So, are/were you? I am not anymore, but during my teenage years, I had this phase, 14-17 where I felt a very large urge to rebel against everything. I did some dumbass and outright pointless things, like pissing in public even though there is a public toilet five minutes away. I bunked off school, I smoked/drank on school property and I would often forget homework/parts of uniform or go to sleep in lesson on purpose just to piss off teachers.

Looking back, I know it was all incredibly pointless, but I will not deny it wasn't good fun. :smoking:

So what about you guys? Any rebels among us?

Sorry, I work for Combine.

I basically didn't turn up for my entire 11th year at school, so yeah, I did. Now I'm at a shit college and my life resembles hell.

I was consistently cheeky, but that was about it.

I never considered myself a rebel nor do I want to break rules. But I still managed to get in to a lot of
trouble and had a reputation, it didn't help I'm an act utilitarian with strong believes.
Though I generally had a good relationship with the teachers.

I wasn't a rebel, but I wasn't completely angelic at school, either. In year 8 I got five detentions and got put on two reports. my dad still doesn't know about the five detentions I got that year!! He knew about the two I got in year 7, though.

True rebels distance themselves from the conformers of our modern society. So go be a dick in the woods.

When I was 10, I was a mean little kid that had no respect for anyone, until my teacher talked to me about some broken windows.

She was angry at me, and she hit me with a rod several times. In the middle of the hitting, she began to sob and told me about how hard she and my parents had tried to give me a good life and education, and I began to see the error of my ways.

Needless to say, my grades jumped exponentially after that. :/

And so I became Mr. Conformity.

You think that's bad?

Nope, no rebel here.

That's a nice story.

Only 5? I would get 5 detentions in a week.

Wait, shit.

i got like 3 and only went to the first one, cause like the next 2 I didn't know that I could just go to the guy in charge and say something presenting myself as a good student and not have to go. (They were for tardiness)

I don't think being a rebel is pissing off teachers.

But yeah, pretty much.

That was the lamest origin story ever!

And so I became...The Nitpicker!

What, would you rather have me driven down in a car accident, salvaged by the ANSP, fitted with bionic limbs and subsequently brainwashed to serve the public trust?

I was a rebel when it was called for. However, when I was a Freshman-Sophmore I would try to be edgy all the time and push the envelope, like many of us did/still do :p

He's a rebel and he'll never ever be any good. He's a rebel 'cause he never ever does what he should.
Just because he doesn't do what everybody else does
That don't mean that we can't share our love

Most people have the ability to be exceptional if they ask the right questions, but very few have the courage to do it.

i got ONE detention, and it was for "computer hacking". What actually happened was I changed the screen resolution to something very high and windows crashed and failed to boot after that. Honest mistake.

I was your typical jock but never picked on anyone. I didn't start disliking society until i was in college.

Im just about the geekiest non-geek football player you'll ever meet so no, Im a model child/student

That's what happened to me, anyway.

My parents were both dead so i had nobody to rebel to, apart from my brother. But i had and still have too much respect for him and my family to do anything lol

I was a very naughty teenager and got arrested a bunch of times for various things and kicked out of two universities. Now i'm the wrong side of 30 and am as good and as straight-laced as can be.

*puts on slippers and dressing gown and watches Frazier*
