I've bought the house in the Imperial City and furnished it out with everything you you buy for it.

A bit after I that I came back with a load of stuff I looted and dropped it all while in the house because I was over-ecumbered. This piece of armour seems to have gotten stuck somehow on the chairs.

I can't pick it up or move it by hitting it, it's just stuck there. It's been there for a while, I thought it'd eventfully disappear but I don't think it will.

Is there anyway I can get rid of it?

wow....thats weird....maybe theres a way to delete an object/entity through the console.

Can't... just... pick it up?

No way I can pick it up. The hand doesn't appear anywhere around it. :|

Guess I could sell the chairs and see if it falls to the ground afterwards.

Seems you can't sell the furnishings. The bits of paper you're given hold no value and are, well, just bits of paper you may as well throw away. :(

Guess it's stuck there for good...

Although this is an old thread, I figured I'd mention that I've had the same problem with a number of enchanted items. In my experience, it only happens when you drop certain "found" magical items (like the Mage Fighter's Greaves) and it seems to happen consistently with the same items. I've never seen it happen with an item that I have enchanted, or with a non-magical item (besides paint brushes). :) I learned that it's wise to quicksave prior to dropping any magical items, for example at a cave entrance when you pile up your loot.

Incidentally, this is my first post here. I can't really call myself a lurker, since I only found this Oblivion sub-forum a couple of days ago. So, howdy! :cheese:

LOL! something similar happened to me but it was stuck to the table and I could not pick the item up. That is weird though.

My friend had a similar event happen to him, except it was that all of his armor totally vanished. He had a really good set of stuff, too. The funny thing is, he told me that he noticed that there were other items out of place, and he wondered if maybe an NPC robbed him
