He denied eto'o a goal scoring opportunity. And he gave arse a free kick when eboue dived, which they scored from. It wasnt the referees fault arsenal lost, although he was poor.Raxxman said:Also he couldn't give Lehmann a red card and allow the goal, cause in order to give the red card Lehmann HAS to be preventing a goal scoring opportunity, WHICH HE DIDN'T CAUSE THEY SCORED THE GOAL.
But they scored which is punishment enough. The referees have to use their common sense in these kind of situations. A yellow card for Lehmann and a 1-0 to Barca was what should've happened. I think Lehmann would've saved both of Barcelonas goals too.Reaktor4 said:He denied eto'o a goal scoring opportunity. And he gave arse a free kick when eboue dived, which they scored from. If there's a chance a player is offside then you can't favour the attacker, that just doesn't make sense.I don't think Barcas goals were contemptuous, Eto may of been offside but I'd favor the attacker over the defender in that situation any day, any team.
