Heres some stuff I've drawn lately.

I'm nearly done on my latest drawing. Just a hobby. Anyone can draw if they learn how.

The Winehouse one is fecked up by my scanner, you can see the grain of the paper which IRL you can't really see.

that's some serious stuff there. I'm somewhat of an artist myself, but then, I suppose anyone who's at this section of the forum is. Drawing is a passion of mine and everyone always sees my work and says "how do you do that?" well its not that hard. just take the time to learn and drawing is so very simple.

Not finished yet. A bit scruffy because I drew most of it at work.

Finito. Not bad for a shade under 2 hours work (hence the scruffy shading).

Very, very good. The only thing I can say is that the arm on the guitar girl, her left forearm looks a little long.

I probed for quite a while and only found that, and that's serious nitpicking. Good job.

Work on some of the shading a bit in some of the drawings though. (but you're better at shading than I am)

If it's the scanner or camera thats giving you trouble, remember to take pictures in natural sunlight. Obviously not to much though.

Good stufff the only crit I have is of the quality of your shading, but it's probably just the camera or scanner which is making it look a little funny. I know I have trouble getting pencil drawings looking good on a computer

Its pretty heavy paper, and you can see between the camera image and the scanner images above how the scanner tends to make the images grainier.

When I start on A3, A2, etc, the shading will appear much better as you won't be able to see as much grain.

Lots of good images on Deviant are like this, drawn at A2/A3 size, when you look at them on the screen they appear flawless, because you're not viewing them full size That and the fact that those guys spend 20 hours on a pic, whereas I spend about 4 hours tops
