Art trip to London :)

Well, tommorow morning, i shall walk into Piccadilly station with one goal.....To find my Art teacher and get on the train to london We are staying wednesday night and and not coming back till thursday evening.

its gonna be fun...We get thursday morning to wander around town and stuff which should be nice. I wanted to go to the lord of the rings exhibition though, but there wasnt enough room Im first reserve...

Anyway, i wouldnt mind just me and the Art teacher, she is a nice person and we are good friends. She is only about 33, so she is still young and "in with the crowd" -for want of a better phrase.


Anyway, obviously its not that interesting...i got two replies

Lots. We are going to vist a few galleries. Such as the Tate Modern and the Satchi...I think we are going to two others but i dont know which.


Personally i want to see some stuff by Turner, im doing my essay on him. Also, i like his work. Im gonna be taking pictures of london though, for my art.

cool, try and post the images, im going to london for the day on 5th of december i think, and i want to see what its like, aint been there for ages.
And if you can, but i doubt it, try and take pictures of the art itself

I've only ever been to London twice. Once was on the way back from Portsmouth with cadets (we went to an RAF museum), and I went to Crystal Palace to watch a friend play in Campaign Cup (biggest paintball tournament in the UK). I soo want to spend a weekend there

I'd love to go round the art museums in London. I've been to the Louvre in Paris, and that was amazing.

I havent been there in a long time either...I keep thinking it will be massively different because manchester is...but london didnt get blown up.
