I am a second Games design student studying in southampton, and im looking to add some work to my folio, though joining a mod team.
I'm intrested in skinning/prop modelling , and I think I can contribute a consistant amount of time per week. I also want to do some concept design.

As such I have no mod experience, but Recently have completed course modules on 3d modelling, level design and soon character design.

I feel confident that I can satisfy any requirements of your needs, so if anyone is intrested in hiring me, then please PM or email.

Here are some links to my previous work.

Do you have any other work to show?

That's kinda low-poly and I can see a smoothing problem or two.

Thats probably because i havent used any smoothing, and I did it in low poly because its for a game, rather then for looking nice. Also the source material isnt geometricly varied.

But i will post some more soon!

can you show any more work? that model really isnt impressive at all.

Here's some work that i did for my Games Design BA, it is low poly as that was part of the brief.
Ive also included some screenies of the actual level i made, as well as some texture examples.

I know im capable of more, including higher poly objects.
I will post more work as I do it. These screens are more examples of my texture ability.

It's refreshing to see an artist produce work that can actually be used in a project, rather than six billion poly AK47s.

Those will be useable in Crysis. Six billion poly's more or less won't make a difference in that game.

Yes, but it's sloppy practice. And by the sounds of it, this Crysis game would require me to hook all three of my machines together (plus the Atari 800, just for that extra 8K of RAM) to render a single model.

Id just like to say thanks to angry lawyer, many people have been judgemental of my lower poly work, but dnt take into thought engine mechanics, or at least realise that the source engine isnt the only engine out there,

cheers matey!

Had a chance to look into that application for our mod yet Uk_resistant? If not that's kewl :)

Seeing that I'm the leader, if we had to name somebody, I'm not sure what your talking about?

i talked to evil sloth it was a conman posing as the leader. he was infact a mapper or somethin.
