Asus and company, DDR3?

Thoughts on DDR3, should I wait for DDR3 to take off and for Nvidia to bring out it's new DX10 cards to build my new PC?

I know this much, I want to build on Core 2 Duo with a high-end DX10 card and hopefully 4gb of memory. What kind of shape is the market in and what should I expect?

I'm not sure how fast Intel plans to adopt DDR3 over DDR2. I know AMD plans to support both on their new socket. I don't know.

Ehm, with 4gb you're WAAAAAY better off getting DDR2. For the price alone.
