I'm not sure if the way I have my graphics set work best for me, so I'd like to see your guys' settings and compare.

Card settings:

Image Quality - Quality
AA - 8xS
AF - 4x

Game settings:

Shaders and crap - High
Reflect - World
AA - 4x
AF - 6x

Running at 1024x768 (will go higher once I get a better monitor).

Pretty much, on all maps except ones with water and lots of physics to be displayed (office), I get smooth gameplay, with great graphics, except, sometimes I drop down to 30-50 fps, which I'm not sure is normal. Every time I open up CS:S I set my fps cap to 9999, cl_smooth 0, and cl_ragdoll_collide 1 (whatever it's called). For normal indoors fighting, I'm getting 60+, but outdoors, depending on the map and situation 30-60 usually.

Seem right?

That sounds about right.

Although which AA/AF settings do you use? you list two.
8xAA/4xAF
and
4xAA/6xAF

Where are you coming up with 6xAF?

I wasn't sure which settings they let you choose in CS:S, so I just stated what I could remember, so yeah, I guess that was wrong. :)

Oh, the two different settings, the first is my card's settings, in my display control panel, and the other is CS:S' settings.

Should I keep them the same, or should I set my card's settings to App. Controlled?

yeah, set your card to application controlled, unless you can set up program profiles.
