At my EB

Im not sure if any of you talked about this in the HL box thread. But I went to my eb today to pay off the rest of hl2 and they had their boxes there. And they werent like the german ones. They were just a black box (or mabie a dark brown) with the hl2 symbol on the front....then it had like 3 pics on the back that we've all seen.

It looked pretty cool........i wanted to steal it.

I've got one. My EB guy was like " Ya want one, go a head and take one. We have plenty." So i took mine to school and put on the chalkboard in my english class and started a countdown.(our english teacher gives us a section of the board just for us students to do whatever we want with it.)

Yeah they have the same black boxes up here in Ontario.
I wouldn't mind having one either, but there really is no point unless theres a lovely cd inside.

they gave me oct17th, then i look on the site and it sais nov.. wtf?

When I pre-ordered back in June they told me November 15th or something around there. They have no clue what's going on.
Good thing i've still got my receipt.

Its not the guys fault....they're just going by their data base. The guy there actually asked me what i'd herd about it coming out. The eb database says nov 15 but even he said that was total bs now.

Its pretty much common knowledge that EB guys: a) like to think they know everything about every game including exact release dates, and b) in reality dont know a damn thing
