3500+ (130nm) vs 3500+ (90nm)
babelfish translation :O
So far, good news. No heat issues apparent with the new parts unlike others, IBM (Apple) and Intel.

A heat increase is expected with the die shrink since it is harder to cool a smaller core with the same heat.

good article though a little unintelligable.

So Intel and IBM are having heat issues with their 64-bit processors? Well that's good for AMD.

Well IBM makes the G5 for Apple which has to use water cooling @ 2.5GHz. IBM may have fixed most of their issues though.
AMD is coming out with a 2.6GHz 130nm part soon enough and their 90nm models don't seem to have any issues.
Of course we all know the furnace that is Prescott, Intel's 90nm chip.

Actually the voltage is running a bit high in that review which would cause more heat. They should run more tests after they have bios updates for these chips.
