i was gonna buy an amd 3000 xp barton , but should i w8 and buy the 64? i heard its out 23rd sep, plus will i have to buy a nforce 3 mainboard? and is that out yet?

You will have to wait a while for prices to go down I geuss, but there already being sold in Japan.

As for the nforce3, I think thats the only praticle choice right now (the only other boards that support AMD64 are server boards).

I can't wait to see the benchmarks for this chip but it will be a long time before i own one.
