Right, I need a graphics card and was pretty surprised at how cheap these badboys are going for now. I've basically narrowed it down to either one of these two:
Sapphire ATI Radeon HD4870 512MB GDDR5 - ?143.74
http://www.novatech.co.uk/novatech/specpage.html?SAP-4870#
OR
Inno3D nVidia GTX260 896MB DDR3 - ?134.99
http://www.ebuyer.com/product/146007
Which would say is the better card? I know that the 4800 series is supposed to be the best bang for buck, but looking at these prices now I'm not so sure. Some of the newer benchmarks have the 260 outperforming the 4870, and vice versa. Alternatively I could get the 1GB 4870 for ?165, but I'm not sure it's worth it considering I'll only be playing at 1650x1080.
Any help/advice would be great.
