ATI 9800xt and Asus

I need a computer genius to help me out. I've got a k8v se deluxe motherboard. In the manual it tells me that it only supports cards that are keyed for 1.5v and 3.3v cards are not compatible. I already own a 9800 xt but it doesnt have a the 1.5v notch. And i'm like wtf? Why wouldint a new 64bit mobo not support last years vpus? Help me out please, by the way how does my system look? suggestions appreciated
