ATi's "4.9 betas" have proved to be nothing more than the 4.8 betas with one edited inf file, AFAIK.

the official catalyst 4.7 actually runs the game marginally faster for me than the "optimised" 4.9 betas.

The 4.9 betas don't work on my system, but I'm looking forward to the official 4.9 drivers in just over a month, with the proper optimisations. These current 4.9s have clearly just been rushed out for those ATI people that get pissed off that they get 55 FPS rather than 60.
