ATI driver problems

Has anyone downloaded the latest ATI driver yet? I'm having problems with it. In CSS random textures & models disapear and reappear. Including player models, so it's kinda strange when you see an AK floating towards you. This only happens to me when the textures are on the high setting, any other setting and it's fine. It always worked with the old driver. Anyone else have the same problem or know how to fix it?

don't you know not to DL ati drivers unless there's something wrong with your current setup, ATI even tells you that.... " if it's not broken don't fix it "

Hehehe, yeah. It's always been my motto "If it ain't broke, don't fix it" - but I figured new drivers might help boost performance slightly - I don't really have a high end system.

Omega Drivers FTW.

Yeah, I used to have Omega drivers, but there wasn't any noticable difference so since I reformatted I just stuck with the ATI ones.

Rollback to the previous driver

I have a 9600 non-pro, can anyone recommend an older driver?

I updated to the current one with subtle but annoying deficiencies in playing (odd textures and partial clipping).

The 5.6 ones work the best for me. I have a 9600 Pro...which is close enough XD
