ATI, FarCry, and Patch 1.2

Anyone out there try the FarCry 1.2 patch on an ATI card?

I have a 9600 XT and I tried FarCry and the supposed "awesome" new patch...

And I crash hard. I guess the people at Crytek said, "Try reinstalling the game without patch 1.2 and wait until another patch comes out." Apparently they have gotten an "alarming" amount of issues with ATI card owners.

Stupid mother f***ers should have tested the patch on some ATI cards. I don't know what the hell they were thinking...

Anyone else not able to play it with an ATI card and as pissed as I am?
